About Us

The City of Chicago Play it Again Sports store has offered the community a wonderful opportunity to BUY, SELL and TRADE new and used sporting goods for nearly 14 years.  We have currently been at the new location at 3939 North Ashland since April of 2006. Most of you may remember us from our Irving Park location.

There is only one owner of our store. Charles Kaminsky who was born in Cincinnati, Ohio moved to Chicago after graduating from the University of Toledo. That's right folks he is a Rocket! He has two children, Emily and Taylor, with his wife Sheri. Currently we have a staff of 5 very knowledgeable individuals who can assist you with every sporting need!

At our store you will receive great prices and knowledgable service from our friendly staff. We encourage you to ask us questions and give us feedback. The best prices with the best service is our goal.
